đ°NOW, for some MORE INCREDIBLE NEWS â A WIN IN THE NEBRASKA SUPREME COURT!
MAFA lawyers Bob Sullivan and Russ Barger represent Creighton University students who were expelled after their religious exemptions for the COVID vaccines were denied and they refused to comply with the schoolâs mandate. The attorneys filed a lawsuit against the university on behalf of the students. After a district court judge dismissed the case, the attorneys appealed to the Nebraska Supreme Court, which reversed the dismissal and stated that two of the studentsâ claims could move forward.
Claim #1: The students alleged in their lawsuit that they had an implied contract with the university in which Creighton offered to educate them if they completed required enrollment forms and paid tuition. This contract was breached when they were expelled for not complying with the vaccine mandate. The court agreed.
Claim #2: Creighton was wrong to withhold the studentsâ transcripts, making it impossible to transfer class credits to another university despite paying tuition and fees. The court also agreed with this claim.
Ironically, Creighton now allows religious exemptions for COVID-19 vaccines, but the court ruled that this did not negate the studentsâ claims. The entire debacle is ludicrous considering that Creighton is a Jesuit school which states on its website that it is ââŠrooted in the Jesuit, Catholic tradition of respect and care for all.â [1]
MAFA lawyer Bob Sullivan said the students are ready to proceed. He said, âThe students appear certain to continue their fight. Now that the Nebraska Supreme Court has rendered their decision that the students have a valid claim, there will be significant litigation expenses as an institution such as Creighton is highly unlikely to enter into good-faith discussions regarding a resolution. Instead, Creighton is likely to continue to hold to the position that they were right all along and that the students were not harmed in the least. Because of this, we will learn even more about how the University went about making their decisions regarding the vaccine mandate and their ultimate decision to unenroll students and ban them from the campus.
âThe hope is that things like this will never happen again. However, hope is one of tyrannyâs most sought-after victims. But for the courage, sacrifices, and determination of these students, hope would be in the crosshairs of those willing to abuse their positions of authority. Such people would do everything possible to crush that hope, in order to control their subjects with despair. Individuals and institutions who hold authority over every day Americans would only grow emboldened and feel even more free to abuse that authority and power to the extreme detriment of our Nation and the rights and freedoms secured for us by those who have gone before us. It is essential to have hope, and hope we have, but it is also essential to follow through and force tyranny into submission whenever and wherever it rears its grotesque head.â
What a wonderful Hannukah/Christmas present!
And thereâs even more!!
The New York Assembly passed a law in 2019 that eliminated religious exemptions for vaccines required for attendance in school. The only exemptions permitted are medical and require certification from a doctor. Even medical exemptions are routinely rejected by the public health department, which is the basis for some of MAFA attorney Patti Finnâs many vaccine-related lawsuits in New York. A legal challenge to the 2019 law was lost in the lower court, and the plaintiffs petitioned the U.S. Supreme Court to take up the matter.
The Supreme Court took the case and recently ordered the lower court to review its stance in consideration of another of its decisions: Mahmoud v. Taylor. In this case, the Justices sided with parents who did not want their children to have access to books that promoted LGBTQ lifestyles. The Court ruled that a county board of education in Maryland violated the religious rights of parents by including these books in the curriculum and forbidding the parents from removing their kids from the classroom when the books were read or discussed.
Justice Alito, writing for the majority in the New York case, cited a previous Supreme Court decision which ruled that a Wisconsin law that prohibited Amish parents from withdrawing their children from school after eighth grade was unconstitutional.
The plaintiffs in the New York case are also Amish, and claim that New Yorkâs repeal of religious exemptions violates their First Amendment rights.[2] MAFA lawyers think that the plaintiffs are highly likely to win. BEST OF ALL: this will likely have a positive impact on several of MAFAâs cases in New York State.
WORTH NOTING: The CDC changed statements posted on the agencyâs website concerning the relationship between vaccines and autism.
Previously, the website stated that research showed that âthere is no link between receiving vaccines and developing autism spectrum disorder (ASD),â and that âno links have been found between any vaccine ingredients and ASD.â[3]
Today, the website states that âthe claim âvaccines do not cause autismâ is not an evidence-based claim because studies have not ruled out the possibility that infant vaccines cause autism,â and that âstudies supporting a link have been ignored by health authorities.â[4] The statement âvaccines do not cause autismâ remains on the new page with a footnote that it had not been removed due to an agreement with Senator Bill Cassidy, MD. During RFKâs confirmation hearing, Cassidy told his Senate colleagues that he had secured an agreement from Kennedy that if confirmed, he would not remove statements like this from the CDC website.
As expected, conflicted organizations like the American Academy of Pediatrics and former employees of the CDC are apoplectic in response.[5] Itâs a small but important step in the right direction.
A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!
We started MAFA in 2020 from scratch and in five short years, weâve raised well over a million dollars, assembled a team of some of the most talented lawyers in the country, and represented hundreds of people throughout the U.S. who suffered egregious harm and even death as a result of the COVID debacle. We moved from scrappy start-up to an organized, respected machine that gets things done in record time. Our work is far from finished, but we do have much to celebrate!
We started new tribes in 2025, and we are receiving more inquiries to start Tribes in 2026.
People are starting to notice that our disciplined and successful approach to solving serious issues related to medical freedom in our country is effective. They also are finding out about the wonderful, close relationships Tribe members have with one another, and theyâd like to find people of like mind to form new relationships with too. I can personally attest to how important this is. My network of people and associations disappeared almost overnight in 2020, and life might have been incredibly lonely had I not started the Central Ohio MAFA Tribe. Today, my fellow Tribe members are the best friends I could ever hope for, and I can say with certainty that if any of us need anything, we all work together to take care of it. The group has certainly done this for me over the last few years.

Consider starting a tribe! Itâs easier than you think, and we provide training and support. You will be SO GLAD you did this; MAFA friends are the best you will ever have, and you will be a more active part of an organization that has helped thousands of people since the COVID nonsense began almost six years ago.
Happy Hannukah and Merry Christmas!!
